Let It Roll Main Stage will present the apex of the D&B scene, covering the wide spectrum from mainstream to heavy neurofunk - that all selected by the festival crew.
Founded by pioneering D&B act London Elektricity in 1996, Hospital Records has earned an endless stream of accolades over the years as a result of their commitment to continual adaptation. Not happy to rest on their rightfully earned laurels at the top of the D&B scene, having been recognized as one of the best active D&B labels and for their label events; Hospital continues to innovate and explore new territories and live venues to harbor their impressive sound. With stalwarts of D&B such as London Elektricity, Metrik, Fred V Grafix, Logistics, Maduk and Krakota on the roster – Hospitality delivers unforgettable experiences every time.
Standing as one of the labels at the apex of drum and bass, RAM Records has carved out an indelible legacy and contribution to the genre. Established at the dawn of D&B in 1992 by scene giant and one of the world’s leading djs - Andy C - this is a label that requires little introduction, with widespread respect for their sound around the globe. Their roster of leading artists in the scene includes Audio, Calyx & Teebee, Culture Shock, Frankee, June Miller and Rene Lavice as part of a list that goes on and on, with every name having a rightful place in the halls of renown.
Grown from a simple idea driven by a commitment to putting out the best music the scene has to offer, it has now become one of the most well respected electronic dance music labels in the UK. Nurturing new talent and releasing some of the freshest breaks and beats from the likes of Enei, Mefjus, Emperor, Foreign Concept, Break, Rockwell, Sabre, Stray, Cyantific, Marcus Intalex, S.P.Y, Calibre, Total Science and many more, it has gone on to build a loyal following around the world driven on by Kasra’s never ending quest to release quality underground bass music.
Shogun Audio was founded back in 2004 by the one and only Friction. Since then this label has it's own well respected place in the drum & bass scene with the uncommercial releases, colorful spectrum of electronica and crossovers. Many top quality artists have released their jewels here including Icicle , Alix Perez, Rockwell or SpectraSoul.
Eatbrain return to LIR for the 2nd time, having torn a hole in the fabric of reality in 2015 and delivered one of the most memorable nights of the festival. A product of the selection and highest neurofunk standard of label boss – Jade – this is a label that’s laid down a slew of some of the finest releases of the genre in the past 2 years. The Eatbrain sound has come to be an essential taste-making element of the neurofunk aesthetic, combined with their unique comic-style artwork and logo that’s crept into every corner of the globe; they know how to lay down the funk. Artists in the Eatbrain family include Jade, Mindscape, MachineCode, L 33, Agressor Bunx and more…
Acquiring a love for the breakbeat through jazz and funk records, Break took to the drums at a young age, learning piano along the way and taking to the turntables at the age of fourteen before progressing to his own productions at sixteen. Crisp breaks, heavy bass and effortless rhythm & flow have always been stable marks of his productions, making him a firm favourite with a variety of the scenes top DJs from the beginning. Launching his own label, Symmetry Recordings in 2006, Break honed and polished his sound with each single and released his fist album, also entitled ‘Symmetry’ in 2008. Featuring forays into ambient, dubstep, funk, hip hop, house and soul amongst an arsenal of sure-fire drum & bass, ‘Symmetry’ earned an army of new fans from the D&B world and beyond.
Rotterdam based D&B / Hardcore record label run by DJ Thrasher and Distributed by Triple Vision. Their parties are one of the most insane raves that Hard Electronic music has to offer. Their roster includes names such as Limewax, The Hard Way, The Panacea, Sinister Souls, Counterstrike, DJ Hidden, Gancher & Ruin, Hallucinator, Cooh, Fragz and many more. All the needs of heavy D&B fans are about to be pleased at this label night.
If Hospital Record’s dedication to bringing the freshest sounds in D&B was ever in doubt, then it’s unnecessary to look further than their sister label Med School Music and the forward-thinking output that emerges from the imprint. Dedicated to championing emerging artists and the freshest of elements of the genre, as well as dubstep, techno and exploratory electronica – expect to be stimulated by a wide range of future music from the next generation of artists. From 1996 and onwards to 1998 'Dispatch' formed a series of tracks from the Hidden Agenda brothers (3 in total) that appeared on Goldie's Metalheadz imprint. Then following the series came 'Dispatch' the label in 2001 with the first release (Dispatch no. 4) being from the Hidden Agenda brothers themselves under their solo 'Nos' & 'Max Fresh' titles with the tracks "New Day / Quiet Day". Since then the label has gone on to release music from the likes of Stress Level & TC1, AI, Raf & Ill Logic, Tactile, Qproject, Zero T, Survival, Duo Infernale, Atlantic Connection, Chris.SU & Break with the odd remix here and there from the likes of Polar, XRS, Craggz and Parallel Forces and Commix. To date releases on the label have been well supported throughout the scene from the likes of Klute, Marcus Intalex, Calibre, Flight, Fabio, Teebee, Goldie, High Contrast, Brian G, Marky, Grooverider, Lomax, Fierce, DBridge etc. The label is managed and owned by Ant TC1 and brings all you could expect from a label with such names and qualities.
Launched in 2010, Czech-based record label Forbidden Society Recordings has played host to some of the finest drum & bass producers from across the globe, including Audio, Donny, Receptor, Current Value, Counterstrike, Task Horizon and Forbidden Society himself. Initially inspired by the heavier and harder end of the scale, Forbidden Society Recordings is ambitious enough to run the gamut of styles and incarnations that the scene has to offer, promising a thrilling ride through the spectrum of drum & bass. Forbidden Society Recordings is undoubtedly a rising star in the world of broken beats and rib-rattling basslines.
AudioPorn Records is a drum & bass, dubstep and electro label & is home to artists such as Xilent, High Maintenance, Mediks, James Marvel, Naked Fish, Youthstar, Shimon and more. It was founded in 2007 by producer Shimon and is credited e.g. for the discovery of Dirtyphonics and in just a few short years AudioPorn has become a force to be reckoned with, exclusively signing some of the scene’s most exciting and sought-after newcomers.
A drum and bass label to be reckoned with. Started by A.M.C Titan Records is coming forth with original, heavy releases from all corners. As the different camps in drum & bass bleed into each other more and more, Titan Records is bringing out top-quality and diverse records ready to inject something big into the scene. All the tracks show a label ready to dominate with some mammoth releases.
A label who have managed to establish themselves into a very reputable name in the last 12 months. Renowned for throwing out quality drum and bass from a roster of highly prestigious artists, they have come a long way since their first release in 2014 which introduced us to the sounds of long term artist Tuff Touch.
2 years on they’re hosting Mayan events and stages at festivals, own a back catalogue of successful releases and have drawn attention from more and more sought after names such as Maztek, Volatile Cycle, Akov and Barbarix. With every new project that comes into the works, they continue to impress and make a significant impact amongst the world of D&B.
Big Riddim Recordings was created in 2008 by AK1200, who had previously worked with well known UK drum and bass labels, Suburban Base and Moving Shadow.
Distributed by Cygnus Music and Triple Vision, Big Riddim, have had several releases, featuring artists such as Tech Itch, Kemal, Evol Intent, Muffler, The Clique, Junior Reid, Digital, Zardonic, Genr8, NC17, Black Sun Empire, Memtrix, State of Mind, Counterstrike, Robyn Chaos, Fragz, Gridlok Ogonek, Gancher & Ruin, Cooh, Freqax, Max Shade and many others, including AK and W.P.L himself.
In 2011, AK expanded the label, and welcomed partner Giulio Ascoli aka W.P.L, from Italy. Together they remodeled the company, and have created a very aggressive campaign for the global sustenance of Hard Drum and Bass music in the future.
