How does it work? It’s essentially the same principle as travel insurance. You can purchase the booking protection directly when buying your ticket. Once purchased, you’ll receive your insurance policy.
It's designed to cover you if you are unable to attend the festival due to certain events listed below. In such cases, you will receive a full refund of the ticket price directly to your account.
✅ What does the insurance cover? (i.e., payment will be made in the following cases):
✓ Injury, illness, or death affecting you, another ticket holder, or one of your immediate family members, including pre-existing medical conditions if you were medically fit to attend the event at the time of ticket purchase.
✓ You need to provide care for a sick or injured ticket holder. The insurance covers only one caregiver and the sick or injured ticket holder;
✓ Pregnancy, if health reasons prevent you from attending the event;
✓ Unexpected call-up as a member of the armed forces;
✓ Unexpected delays due to a transport strike that you could not have known about before purchasing the ticket.
❌ What the insurance does not cover (i.e., payment will not be made in the following cases):
⤬ Illness or death caused by a pre-existing medical condition;
⤬ You cannot provide proof that the ticket was not used when requesting a refund;
⤬ The event is canceled, postponed, shortened, or moved to another location;
⤬ You decide not to attend the event for reasons not covered by the insurance;
⤬ You cannot travel to the event due to public transport disruptions known before the event date;
⤬ You have the opportunity to recover any part of the reservation price;
⤬ Insufficient time allowed to travel to the event location;
⤬ You committed a crime that prevents you from attending the event;
⤬ Costs incurred in connection with providing or submitting evidence to support your insurance claim;
⤬ Consequences of war, strikes, terrorism (and other causes listed in the insurance policy).
