The master of dancefloor drum and bass, Metrik, is ready to take over Roxy Prague!
On Saturday 27th January 2024, one of the most talented and versatile artists in the drum and bass scene, Metrik, is coming to Roxy Prague. And it’s going to be a night to remember, because he is bringing his amazing energy, skills and tunes to make you dance all night long! You can expect to hear some of his new tracks that he has been working on, as well as some of his classic hits that have made him a legend in the genre.
Metrik, also known as Tom Mundell, is one of the most successful and influential drum and bass producers in the world. He has been releasing records since 2007 and currently is one of the top procedures in the genre, and 800 000 monthly Spotify listeners would confirm that. He has also collaborated with some of the biggest names in the genre, such as Netsky, Friction, Sub Focus and Wilkinson.
All the way back in 2012, he released a track that already made history and was in collaboration with Reija Lee, the legendary hit “Freefall”. With his sound pushing further into high-energy technical drum’n’bass, Metrik soon was signed to Hospital Records, which issued his debut album, Universal Language, in 2014. Over the next couple of years, Metrik focused on his DJ sets, playing at numerous festivals and clubs across the world and by 2020 he had recorded his third full-length, Ex Machina, issuing the singles “Hackers,” “Gravity,” and “We Are the Energy” in the run-up to its midyear release. All these and many more will rock Roxy Prague in January.
Along with Metrik there’s also going to be other DJs joining him on stage – namely Broke.N, Madface, Thiew, Tony Terra and Volume Plus. They will make sure you won’t be able to stop dancing either.
